Practice & Picnic in the Park

(Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent; there is no charge to parents.)

Many Yoga postures are named for animals, insects and trees and flowers found in the natural world.  We'll explore this connection, enjoy a healthy picnic feast and play in the neighboring park.

Join Kids’ Musical Yoga for a musical Yoga practice.  Children will explore their bodies, minds, and breath--slithering like snakes, roaring like lions and shining like the sun while singing KMY’s original songs.

The fundamental Yoga concepts of breath and movement are presented through mindful play and engaging songs like Take a Deep Breathe In, I’m a Beautiful Butterfly and, Rain, Rain Come our Way.

What better way to teach the importance of being fully present in mind and body!
