KYC offers one of the most comprehensive Kids’ Yoga Teacher Training programs in the country.  

The course curriculum includes:
• study of child development, learning styles and classroom management techniques
• study of anatomy
• study of asana, breathing exercises, relaxation and stress management techniques, chanting, meditation, prayer and ritual
• study of yoga philosophy for children
• specific principles of combining asana-s and considerations for creating age and developmentally appropriate sequences for typically developing children as well as for children with special needs
• yogic games and partner poses
• lesson planning, creative experiences with art, music and creative writing
